  • Discuss common fire hazards and  how fires start and spread
  • Describe emergency procedures to be followed in the event of a fire in line with company policy and the internal risk assessment
  • Highlight where to report fire safety concerns and know the consequences of failing to report or not acting appropriately
  • Identify the different fire extinguishers and different classifications of fires
  • Define what you can and cannot do should a fire start
